Join the fastest growing sport in the nation, by helping build a strong and vibrant pickleball program here in Newburyport. From the first organized program sponsored by the Senior Community Center last summer to this past winter’s indoor league at the Racquet Club of Newburyport, local interest in pickleball is skyrocketing.
Your tax-deductible donation will have an immediate impact This summer, in partnership with the Parks Department, Newburyport Pickleball will offer weekly open group play at two venues – Perkins Park and the Senior Community Center. New players will receive complimentary lessons, while intermediate and advanced players can engage in fast-paced and challenging matches. This fall and winter, we will again be partnering with the Racquet Club of Newburyport to offer indoor play on Sunday nights from October 1, 2017 – April 22, 2018. |
Support future programs
Your support will also help build future programs like local in-school and after school programming, intergenerational play, tournament fundraisers benefiting local charities, employee wellness programs, free demonstrations at local events, and free and low-cost clinics for all demographic groups. The Newburyport Parks Conservancy was established on the principle that the donor should direct how his or her donation will be spent. We call it Donor Directed Giving. With Donor Directed Giving the Newburyport Parks Conservancy assures your donation to the city's parks and public spaces will be used entirely as you intend and not for administrative fees or other, unrelated projects.
